Twilight shots can be a unique and effective way to get your listings noticed in the MLS. They have a look and feel that look that makes them POP off the page when viewers are looking through listings. Below are some pointers to make your twilight shoot look even better. These shots are typically done just after sunset or just before sunrise when the lighting is just right. We refer to this time of day as the “golden hour” because it is a short window of time during the day that really makes the images look good.
Make sure all blinds and window treatments are completely open
Turn on all exterior lights are on and are the same type/temperature bulbs
Remove all trash cans and other items from yard such as signs, hoses, flags, exc
Turn all landscape lighting on
Turn on all interior lights including the garage lights
Make sure the photographer has the homeowners contact info
Be sure to turn off all irrigation 6 hours before the shoot
If you have Pool lights, make sure they are on
Fire/Water features must be turned on
